Homemade Honey and Oats Granola

One thing we never fail to do here is sit down for breakfast even if we are up early for a busy day or rushing out to work. These days it seems we have a little more time to linger over breakfast with a cup of tea to wake our sleepy eyes.

I have been meaning to share this recipe with you for a little while now. I made my first batch a couple of weeks ago, it turns out it’s actually really simple to make and its really delicious too… Combine the above ingredients and pop onto a lightly greased baking tray and bake in the oven (180c) for about 20 minuets, giving it a mix half way through.

I like to eat my granola with fresh fruit and yoghurt for breakfast or as an afternoon snack. It keeps really well in a sealed tight glass jar.
