Memories of March

March has been a beautiful and busy month with lots of lovely spring weather. And, it has been our last month with a one year old! I thought it would be a nice idea to document and share a series of monthly pictures from the goings on around here. With or little boy turning two it got me thinking about how the seasons of our life are turning so quickly, too quickly, in fact, I find it hard to believe we have been a little threesome for two years already and it amazes me just how fast we are growing and transitioning. Not only will sharing a monthly series of pictures be a lovely journal for me to look back on in years to come, it will be a good discipline for me in which to capture some canded everyday details of our life and home.

So here are some favourite moments from the month of March:

  • A beautiful bunch of spring blooms, and possible the last ranunculus of the season
  • A linen cupboard makeover to brighten a dark corner of our home (and quite possibly the start of nesting)
  • Burning the lime and basil Hudson & co. candle its fragrance is really uplifting, I am especially enjoying lighting it in the morning to start the day
  • A rare picture of myself and my growing baby bump taken by my husband and one that I will cherish forever. I am feeling a lot more calm about this pregnancy and so glad to have the moment captured on camera
  • Fostering a love of creativity in my son, I wrote a blog post here about my needs to be creative now that I am a stay at home mum
  • This is the magnolia season and I am obsessed with the beautiful blooms
  • And the best memory of the month was our little boys second birthday
