This is most definitely the season for adventures and a blossoming imagination. Being a mother of a two and a half year old has brought me so much joy as I witness my boy transition into the next stage of his childhood. He has a wild heart and is happiest when outdoors exploring! We have spent many afternoons at my parents exploring the overgrown pathways at the bottom of the garden, collecting apples and pretending we are on a bear hunt, squelching through the mud. These are some of my happiest memories and ones I hope he will remember for a life time too.
Arthurs outfit is from Little Cotton Clothes, who have recently introduced a range of boys clothes to their collection of beautiful childrenswear. For me, this brand is rooted in the joys of childhood – feeling free and comfortable to explore, to climb trees and jump in all the muddy puddles without a care in the world. The pieces are all made from natural fabrics with a simple and timeless design, which is something I have always been drawn to with children’s clothes. What I love most about the range is its simplicity, they are both practical and comfortable for little ones, whilst being ethically made and wash beautifully too.
Imogen and Leonie are the sisters behind Little Cotton Clothes, who set up the childrenswear brand after their daughters were born. Each piece of clothing is designed by them and draws inspiration from their own fun filled childhood here in England. They wanted to create clothes that are both beautiful and practical for little adventures, which I think they have achieved and I am already excited to see the launch of their SS18 boys range.
